David Allen Reeves is a photography student that, like most creatives, excels in other artistic endeavors. Studying in
Nova Scotia probably gives one a lot of distraction free time to work on things and Reeves has a pretty cool spin on the old art of
silhouettes. We have covered how other visual artists have worked with
paper, lights and shadows in interesting ways, in past posts. But what makes Reeves work so riveting is how it seems to relate to many of the movies and themes that are pretty well known in our entertainment culture.
I?m a 28 year old Rhode Island native studying photography at NSCAD University in Halifax, NS. I write music, photograph, and design to express whatever it is I feel that day- which is mostly geek related. I get inspired by single-player video games, film, and tacos. Thanks for your time! I hope you enjoy my work as much as I did making it.
